Tuesday Adult Casual Racing and Members Meeting

This is a message for members, potential members and adult sailors who would like to get out on the water..
I hope you are getting as excited about this sailing season as I am! I wanted to fill you
in on some of the exciting new happenings around RPSA.

Firstly, we will be changing the Thursday Night Racing Series to the TUESDAY Night Racing
Series. We want to give you, the adults, a chance to get some more time with a race coach
and pick up some racing tips and new skills.

One of the big changes is we would like to kick off the racing at 5:30pm instead of
6:30pm. I think this will be more effective because you will get a half-hour LTR (learn
to race) lesson, followed by rigging and then, if all goes well, races will start before
6:00 and go until 7:30 or 8:00 or until the wind dies. If we have enough interest, this
will be followed by a Bring-Your-Own-Meat (or vegetarian substitute) BBQ where we can
have a chance to hang out, get to know each other and talk boating.

Once again, there is no cost for members and a $5 drop-in fee for non-members.
